VP of Solutions Sales* - USA

Newly created position - Remote within U.S./ Travel - Compensation USD 300k (OTE)    

 

Your duties:
» This position will be a member of the executive team and report to the CEO. The ideal candidate will be an experienced sales executive with demonstrated success and a passion for winning and satisfying customers by leading the company’s sales functions, as well as conceptualizing and promoting solutions to meet or exceed company sales goals. This action-oriented position is responsible for the full sales cycle from prospecting to closure. The VP of Solutions Sales will set sales strategy, identify new business opportunities while building a pipeline, qualifying and closing prospects. In addition, the VP of Solutions Sales establishes strong relationships at high levels within key accounts, which ensures optimal customer satisfaction and revenue generation.

They enable clients to be more profitable and valuable, while also becoming more agile, flexible, and adaptive to the marketplace. They collaborate with their client teams to develop improved operations strategies, supply chain planning, and execution across all the Mega Processes of supply chains (Plan -Buy- Make- Move- Distribute- Sell).


Your Qualifications:

► Demonstrates success with direct B2B high-value sales of consulting and integrated industrial automation solutions to C-suite executives and P&L owners at customers of varying sizes and industries.
► Success selling complex consulting and material handling automation and execution software solutions around transformational initiatives in supply chain, logistics, warehousing, e-commerce, and manufacturing markets.
► Ability to devise new and/or improve revenue streams to maintain profitability through customer success strategies, including onboarding to cross and upsell activities.
► Results-oriented executive sales leader responsible for >$10M in bookings. Executive reporting to the CEO in a fast-growing, independent consulting and material handling integration (MHI) company.
► Effective collaboration with peers in marketing, finance, consulting and MHI to drive a go-to-market strategy and deliver results as a cohesive team.
► International experience is a plus.
► Hands-on leader with deep knowledge of complex customer agreements, commercial terms and counterproposals.
► Negotiation skills to drive beneficial results in contract negotiations.
► Ensures project profitability through close collaboration with consulting and MHI leadership, and achieves consistent sales growth by professionally representing Client’s Solutions.
► Consistently exhibits a team oriented, customer focus with strong attention to detail.
► Maintains a strong working knowledge of current service offerings within the competitive marketplace.
► Focuses on selling solutions with complete understanding and analysis of the client’s existing and future business needs.
► Supports and performs business initiatives such as promotions, campaigns and trade shows.

► US Citizen and must be a passport holder
 Travel will be a feature of this job. Occasional international travel may be required.
